Kanaan Ministries first started out years ago with our Soul Care School (courses one and two has been updated, and is now part of the Journey2Freedom series), is the basis and foundation to much of our material. As such, this is the place we suggest for everyone to begin. Foundations are so important! Without the proper start … the “building” can end up being quite lopsided and unsafe. The school consists of several courses, each being both intensive and extensive. We have tried to cover everything!
The first two courses of Soul Care are the foundation of the foundation. We encourage everyone to at least work through these. The balance of the course is geared towards the serious student and those wanting advanced training in counseling.
The material consists of DVD’s, CD’s, and manuals, which are all available for Soul Care. You can work through the courses by simply using the manuals – available as free PDF downloads from the website – or ordered from the office. These are however merely the framework. In order to receive the full explanation with practical illustrations – the “meat” of the material – we would encourage you to obtain the DVD’s. You are welcome to get a group together to work through the material in order to help share the cost.
We also recommend for you to make use of our prayers of renunciation. The prayers are grouped into several broad categories, and can also be downloaded from the website or ordered from the office. The prayers are practical aids to help you renounce the occultic roots in your life – those doorways that may have been opened – as well as a guide in repentance to facilitate your walk in victory.
