Amanda's TV Broadcast story

Amanda was ministering locally in Cape Town when she was approached by a representative from God TV. He felt that her teaching (a series on Healing our Wounded Hearts) should be broadcasted on God TV.

Amanda and Roly held it before the Lord and received confirmation with these powerful scriptures confirming that they should go ahead.

Promises for God TV

Psalm 60:4 ”4 [But now] You have set up a banner for those who fear and worshipfully revere You [to which they may flee from the bow], a standard displayed because of the truth. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!”

Isaiah 54:2 ”2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes,”

Isaiah 60:4-5 ”4 Lift up your eyes round about you and see! They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in the arms. 5 Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy [at the glorious deliverance] and be enlarged; because the abundant wealth of the [Dead] Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures.”

The expenses of putting the series on DVD together with a three-D logo, personal jingle, endless hours of editing the Powerpoint illustrations, etc, was quite significant! Amanda has never asked for financial support, working from the belief that what we freely receive must be freely given and this is why the teaching material is available on free downloads.

The financial budget was quite a challenge. We continued with the principle of not asking for financial support from partners.

Testimony of God's Faithfulness

God has been so faithful and has covered all the expenses!

We would like to share this testimony with you:

The series “Cleansing our Generations” started in July 2005. An African business woman had seen the program on God TV and asked for prayer because she had been dedicated as a songoma (witch doctor) when she was a child. She suffered much opposition and could not understand why she was not living the victorious life the Bible speaks about.

While watching the series she learned how the enemy can still have legal rights to our lives through demonic covenants made by our forefathers. After her deliverance, she made a commitment to bless Kanaan Ministries with her next business deal - and this was exactly the amount that was needed to pay for this series!

Amanda's TV story began...

Amanda started presenting “Growing up in Jesus Name” on 9th March 2005 that ran for 18 weeks. This series teaches on the important role that relationships play in our lives, how God’s plan is that every person must be part of a family and how the church fulfills the role of the family of God.

In July 2005 a series called “Cleansing our Generations” was broadcast every Wednesday at 10am and ran for two years.

This series helps every born-again believer to make sure that the ungodly foundations laid by our forefathers are: “rooted out, pulled down, destroyed and overthrown” according to Jeremiah 1:10. Amanda then goes further to complete the scripture by teaching you to “build and to plant” the Godly foundations according to the Word of God.

In May 2007 a new series called “Healing our Wounded Hearts” began. This series is the “other” side of the coin to “Cleansing our Generations”.

From July 2008, and currently being broadcast weekly, is an updated "Healing our Wounded Hearts" series which covers the areas of woundedness to our spirits and souls and how to apply the Word of God to every wound we have suffered in a broken world.

There are 21 DVD’s and seven manuals that make up this series.

You will find out how to return to the ways of the Lord, to identify the areas where you have been wounded, and to deal with the patterns of sin and immaturity that hold you captive.

We end with this series by studying Strongholds and Filters of the Mind together with the different roots which result from our woundedness and how to be free of them. Walking Continuously in Victory IS POSSIBLE!!
