Although many of us are reborn children of God, we still somehow do not experience the fullness of that which God has purposed for us. The Soul Care Course teaches on the amazing revelation of equipping God's children as warriors in victorious living.
If you are a reborn child of God you are automatically a warrior in God's army. However, do you know who your enemy is, what your weapons are, how to use them properly and effectively; do you have a strategy for the battle plan?
In Joshua 5: 8 we read the
following:
"and after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they
were in camp until they were healed."
Not only were God's people preparing to go into battle, they were also circumcised. The Israelites had to remain in the camp until they were healed, and totally restored before entering into battle - wounded and bruised soldiers cannot enter into war.
We as God's children, also need our hearts to be circumcised…before going into battle. We need to be clean before the Lord so that our enemy satan has no advantage or grip on us.
Healing after circumcision does not happen overnight, it is a process, and so it is also with God's children…we as the Church, the Bride of Christ, not only need to be circumcised, but need to be healed, so that we can be warriors of stature, before entering the battle.
About the Ministry:
I. The main focus is on the Restoration of the Bride of Yeshua (Jesus).
Restoration will take place on all three levels of man - spirit, soul and body.
1)
Restoration of the Spirit.
We teach the Hebraic principle restoring each individual to the heart of God
- as Father. Once a commitment is made to dedicate their lives to God, we emphasize
God's plan of experiencing the fullness of His love as the person is released
from the bondages of sexual, occultic and generational iniquities. We teach
that serving God in loving obedience through the keeping of His commands and
the leading of the Holy Spirit will cause us to grow in our role as a Royal
priesthood.

Restoration of the Soul.
We recognize that many believers have been bruised and wounded in their emotions,
mind and will due to abuse / wrong parental broken relationships. We teach the
Hebraic principle that God came to bring us rest and peace and therefore a great
deal of emphasis is placed on the process of forgiveness, renewal of the mind
from the Greco Roman model to the Hebraic roots where the father stands in the
role of servant leader of a spirit-filled, blessed home. We teach that the outpouring
of the fruits of the Spirit will be manifested through our souls as we participate
and keep God's feasts.
3)
Restoration of the Body.
I. We teach that Yeshua has paid the full price for our physical restoration.
We minister to the body to accept responsibility to honour the physical temple
through Godly principles of a healthy lifestyle. We pray for the healing of
physical disorders by the laying on of hands and anointing with oil. We believe
in a God of MIRACLES!
II. Training Prayer Ministers in Inner-Healing and Deliverance.
This training is very practical in dealing with specific situations, how to
minister to children, addictions, different cults, etc. It is not method or
formula based, but the focus is on the anointing that destroys the demonic yokes!
III. Prayer Schools.
This teaching is also very practical in mobilizing prayer teams to pray for
restoration and revival in our cities and communities. It teaches on altars
and what happens when we pray, the weapons of the Lord, praise and worship in
warfare, Israel and the Church, and much more.
IV. Our Hebraic Roots.
Roly, Amanda's husband, has put together a number of booklets to try and assist Christians in their understanding of their Hebraic roots and the significance of the Hebraic festivals to us as Christians. He has also covered the very important understanding of ONE Covenant, as well as seeing the promises of God being fulfilled in our children and children's children (Legacy).
V. Prison Ministry
Kanaan Ministries has been actively involved in Malmesbury prison for many years. Liza Anthony, our prison-worker, has done an amazing work amongst the inmates and even touching the lives of the prison wardens. She goes there three times a week and uses the Soul Care School videos to minister healing and restoration to the inmates. She is currently training them to be counsellors.
Amanda ministers there regularly on open Sunday meetings and teaches the inmates and the wardens spiritual warfare and understanding their role in the community as fathers and leaders.
People whose lives have been touched by Kanaan Ministries and that are financially able to sow into the Prison Ministry, are supporting us with finances in being able to arrange end-of-the-year parties, small gifts, etc. When the inmate is released out of prison, they are supplied with sets of clothing, shoes, a bed, linen, etc. and they are assisted where possible in finding a job. They also do visits on a regular basis.
Many inmates who had received life sentences, were so transformed that the wardens requested court hearings for them and more than twenty have already been released back into the community, restored to their families and is serving the Body of Christ in tremendous victory and testimony to the completed work of the Cross and the Blood of the Lamb!
This ministry has resulted in a tremendous blessing for all the individuals involved.

VI. Amanda’s TV broadcast story!!
Since the 9th March 2005, Amanda taught a course on God TV called “Growing up in Jesus Name” that ran for 18 weeks. This series teaches on the important role that relationships play in our lives and how God’s plan for every person that He has created, is to be part of a family. It also teaches that the church must fulfil the role of the family of God.
A series started in July 2005 on God TV called “Cleansing our Generations” every Wednesday at 10am. This series ran for two years due to the demand from the public. This series is very important information and it helps every born-again believer to make sure that the ungodly foundations laid by our forefathers are: “rooted out, pulled down, destroyed and overthrown” according to Jeremiah 1:10. She then goes further to complete the scripture by teaching you to “build and to plant” the Godly foundations according to the Word of God.
In May 2007 a new series started to run called “Healing our Wounded Hearts”. This series is like the “other” side of the coin to Cleansing our Generations. It covers the areas of woundedness to our spirits and souls and how to apply the Word of God to every wound we have each suffered in a broken world. Returning to the Ways of the Lord is discussed in-depth and areas where we’ve been wounded that have held us captive in patterns of sin and immaturity. Strongholds and Filters of the Mind is covered and the different roots which result from woundedness is discussed and how to be free of them. Walking Continuously in Victory IS POSSIBLE!!
