Prison Ministry
Luke 4:18 “18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],”
Kanaan Ministries has been actively involved in Malmesbury prison for many years and is represented fulltime by Liza Anthony – a volunteer – who spent three years training before she applied what she learned from Kanaan Ministries in the prison.
Kanaan Ministries continues to donate manuals and DVD’s for each new group that is founded in the prison. Amanda and Roly also minister there regularly on open Sunday meetings, teaching the inmates and the wardens spiritual warfare and understanding their role in the community as fathers and leaders.
